I’m talking about the latest trend in videography: 360° cameras to capture all of the action!
What Are 360° Cameras?
If you haven’t heard of these exciting new cameras, you’re really missing out. The very first 360° video I saw was of the Blue Angels flying in formation. As my mind pieced together what I was seeing, I couldn’t tear my eyes away from the screen. My mind was blown by this awesome technology, and I immediately needed to know how the video was made.
Essentially, these fun little gadgets use multiple miniature cameras mounted together to capture video from all angles. The images are then stitched together, and the viewer can use their device to “move” around the scene, taking in the action from all around.
If you view a 360° video on your desktop, you’ll see what looks like a compass in the upper corner of the video. A simple click of the mouse will move the angle in any direction. On mobile, all it takes is a slight tilt of your phone or tablet. Viewing these videos on mobile devices give the sensation of viewing a virtual reality scene.

How Will 360° Cameras Work For My Small Business?
