TweetDeck Now Allows Scheduled Photo Posts

TweetdeckTwitter-owned TweetDeck recently announced a new feature on that allows users to schedule photo posts in advance, much like HootSuite. Additionally, social teams on TweetDeck will be able to work together on a shared queue of posts.

HootSuite has been including photos in scheduled tweets for years, but these photos are only displayed if a user clicks on the link provided. TweetDeck photos will be displayed in-line and more likely to be noticed and engaged with, according to Marketing Land.

TweetDeck’s queue will allow social teams to work out of the same scheduled-tweet bucket. This unique feature will enable all members to edit and/or adjust the timing of specific tweets being published.

Twitter also announced that tweets scheduled through TweetDeck will be visible on ads.twitter.com and vice versa. This feature ensures that users know what content is being scheduled without having to worry about which selective audiences will see them.

While HootSuite’s paid services do provide users with more elaborate options, TweetDeck’s new features provide a more reasonable alternative for small businesses with limited budgets.

For example, an organization could use TweetDeck to schedule a photo tweet one week prior to a major event happening to remind their followers.

Sweet Rose Studios employs TweetDeck and other tools like Buffer to keep its customers well-situated on social media. Do you use TweetDeck for scheduling tweets? If so, will you use this new feature?
